Good nutrition begins in the soil

Good nutrition begins in the soil

by Patrick Holden, Sustainable Food Trust on 1 September, 2016

"Quite rightly, more and more doctors and members of the public are asking “what should I eat to stay healthy?” As someone who has been farming sustainably in West Wales for the last 40 years, I would add the question “how should we farm so that the food produced truly promotes the health of the public?” These two questions are linked, because what we have done to the chronic diseases of our bodies has very much been mirrored in the soil.

At our recent conference in San Francisco called The True Cost of American Food, Tyler Norris from Kaiser Permanente (perhaps the leading health insurance and managed health care company on the West Coast) said they are facing an unaffordable health treatment crisis. He attributed much of this to the industrialisation of agriculture, particularly in California’s Central Valley which is America’s ‘food basket’.

Not that Norris knew, but he was echoing an observation made many years ago by Lady Eve Balfour who founded the Soil Association. She called for a thorough investigation of the causes of health (which she believed are rooted in the food we eat and the way we farm) because she saw the NHS becoming a “national disease treatment service” rather than a “national health service”.

Lady Balfour had been inspired by Sir Albert Howard, a man who had been sent out to India at the height of the Empire, a century ago by the British Government, to encourage the people of India to adopt western diets. Fortunately, Howard had the intelligence and humility to realise early on in his mission that he had nothing much to teach India about sound nutrition. He recognised too that the relative healthiness of North West India was due not simply to what people ate, but to the way their food was grown in soils which produced highly nourishing crops because the farmers, perhaps intuitively and without the science which has only recently confirmed its importance, always looked after the soil microbiome.

-- How We Grow Our Food, by Patrick Holden, Chair of Sustainable Food Trust, speech at Food: The Forgotten Medicine conference highlighting the importance of how we farm and its impact on human health; with an emphasis on the connection between healthy soil, healthy food and healthy people.

Nuclear and Thermonuclear Weapons History Mushroom Cloud Information and Image Gallery

“Only when arbitration is able to unravel the tangled skein of crime and hypocrisy among individuals can it be extended to communities and nations. As nations are only man in the aggregate, they are the aggregate of his crimes and deception and depravity, and so long as these constitute the basis of individual impulse, so long will they control the acts of nations.” -- Military Gospel According to Homer Lea

A Nuclear Broken Arrow - An unexpected and unplanned event, involving nuclear weapons, such as: accidents in launching, firing, detonating, theft and loss of the weapon.

The Swan primary of Operation Plumbbob: Diablo, on July 15, 1957, at the Nevada Test Site, Area 2 b, was fired in a full-sized structural model of the thermonuclear system. Boken Arrow: Diablo misfired. The discussion and investigation lasted over a day, trying to understand what could have gone wrong, and more importantly who was going to disarm and inspect a faulty nuke. Finally the crew of 3 engineers who were the last on the tower was assigned to this dangerous task. Eventually it ended up good, and the device was successfully disarmed. Though disarming a nuclear bomb that didn't go off after firing and potentially could've detonated at any second was more than a tough job. -- Test: Diablo; Date: July 15 1957; Operation: Plumbbob.

"If each human family were dependent only on its own resources; if the children of improvident parents starved to death; if thus, over breeding brought its own "punishment" to the germ line -- then there would be no public interest in controlling the breeding of families. But our society is deeply committed to the welfare state, and hence is confronted with another aspect of the tragedy of the commons. In a welfare state, how shall we deal with the family, the religion, the race, or the class that adopts over breeding as a policy to secure its own aggrandizement? To couple the concept of freedom to breed with the belief that everyone born has an equal right to the commons is to lock the world into a tragic course of action. The most important aspect of necessity that we must now recognize, is the necessity of abandoning the commons in breeding. No technical solution can rescue us from the misery of overpopulation. Freedom to breed will bring ruin to all. ~ RRR Zhivago Hunter :: “Nuclear Freedom is the Recognition of Mutual Coercion, Mutually Agreed Upon Procreation Values Necessity” :: Buffalo Bill DMW ~

"It is important to understand the distinction between information and intelligence. Information is an assimilation of data that has been gathered, but not fully correlated, analyzed, or interpreted. Intelligence, on the other hand, is the transformation of information into knowledge and insight." -- Admiral Jeremy Boorda, Joint Military Intelligence College

Your real enemies are the people who are pointing your attention in the direction of an imaginary enemy. Your primary, real enemy is your ignorance and obstinacy. Your secondary enemy is the one manipulating both for their profit and entertainment. You need to realize that what is victimizing you is not just doing it to keep you in fear and to bleed you dry. These agencies and entities enjoy the spectacle of what they are putting you through. When you suffer and place the blame on something that never existed or is long dead, they laugh. Thou Shalt Not Breed Monkey Law Prophets

Licensed to breed

Published: 8/12/2009 19:57:18
by Michael Coetzee, The Citizen’s Chief Sub Editor

James Bond has one that allows him to kill, drivers of cars are supposed to always have one on them, and gun owners are constantly complaining about how difficult it is to get or renew one.

While it may indeed often be an inconvenience to obtain them, licences play a very useful role in regulating the ownership and use of dangerous and potentially lethal tools such as vehicles and firearms.

Few would deny that it’s a good idea people should obtain licences before being allowed to pilot a few tons of metal down the highway at 120km/h, or that it should be ascertained whether someone has a criminal record or is mentally unstable before they are allowed to own and carry a lethal weapon.

It seems there is pretty much a consensus that when it comes to things that have the possibility to injure, kill or in any other way negatively impact the lives of people or society in general, regulation is desirable.

Considering this, there is one sort of licence that is conspicuous by its absence: a licence to breed.

Or procreate, to use the more acceptable term, for people seem to get quite upset when the rather mundane event of a human giving birth to a child is referred to in any way other than with the respect and awe usually reserved for describing some religious experience.

The Six Stages of Collapse

The Six Stages of Collapse

Author: Dmitry Orlov; from Club Orlov
22 Feb 2008: Five Stages of Collapse | 29 Apr 2016: The Sixth Stage of Collapse

Aboriginals were, Cook noted in his journal, entirely inoffensive. But a few actions of Cook's men did enrage them. They were scandalized by the sight of birds being caught and placed in cages, and demanded their immediate release. Imprisoning anyone, animal or person, was to them taboo. They were even more incensed when they saw Cook's men catch not just one, but several turtles. Turtles are slow-breeding, and it is easy to wipe out their local population by indiscriminate poaching, which is why they only allowed the turtles to be taken one at a time, and only by a specially designated person who bore responsibility for the turtles' welfare.

Cook thought them primitive, but he was ignorant of their situation. Knowing what we know, they seem quite advanced. Living on a huge but arid and mostly barren island with few native agriculturally useful plants and no domesticable animals, they understood that their survival was strictly by the grace of the surrounding natural realm. To them, the birds and the turtles were more important than they were, because these animals could survive without them, but they could not survive without these animals.

In this article, I proposed a taxonomy of collapse, splitting it out into five stages—financial, commercial, political, social and cultural—and tied each of the five collapse stages to the breaching of a specific level of trust, or faith, in the status quo. Although each stage causes physical, observable changes in the environment, these can be gradual, while the mental flip is generally quite swift, because it is something of a cultural universal that nobody (but a real fool) wants to be the last fool to believe in a lie.

Stage 1: Financial collapse. Faith in “business as usual” is lost.

Stage 2: Commercial collapse. Faith that “the market shall provide” is lost.

Stage 3: Political collapse. Faith that “the government will take care of you” is lost.

Stage 4: Social collapse. Faith that “your people will take care of you” is lost.

Stage 5: Cultural collapse. Faith in “the goodness of humanity” is lost.

Stage 6: Environmental Collapse.

And so it seems that there may not be a happy end to my story of The Five Stages of Collapse, the first three of which (financial, commercial, political) are inevitable, while the last two (social, cultural) are entirely optional but have, alas, already run their course in many parts of the world. Because, you see, there is also the sixth stage which I have previously neglected to mention—environmental collapse—at the end of which we are left without a home, having rendered Earth (our home planet) uninhabitable.

This tragic outcome may not be unavoidable. And if it is not unavoidable, then that's about the only problem left that's worth solving. The solution can be almost arbitrarily expensive in both life and treasure. I would humbly suggest that it's worth all the money in the world, plus a few billion lives, because if a solution isn't found, then that treasure and those lives are forfeit anyway.

French Riddle of the Lily Pond: Understanding Exponential Growth

In this riddle, the lily pond has a potentially virulent lily that apparently will double in size each day. If the lily grows unchecked it will cover the entire pond in 30 days, choking off all other forms of life in the water by the time it covers the entire pond. If a skeptic waited until 50% of the pond was covered before taking any remedial action to save the pond, when would he act?

The answer: on the 29th day of the month! But by then, it would be too late.

Eco Innocent -vs- Ego Scarcity Combatant Procreation & Consumption Footprints

Eco Innocent v Ego Man Scarcity Combatant’s and their Crime of Aggression Acts of War Footprints

Eco Innocents: Anders Breivik, Dylann Storm Roof, Aaron Alexis, Chris Harper-Mercer, Beate Zchape, Ted Kaczynski, Timothy McVeigh
Ego Scarcity Combatants: Jacob Zuma, Cliven Bundy, Brad Blanton, Dennis Banks, Martin Luther King, Julian Assange, Mark Zuckerberg, William Windsor.

08 October 2015 | Andrea Muhrrteyn

An individuals Ego/Eco Footprint is determined from their:
Consumption Footprint x Procreation Factor.

Consumption Footprint: An Individuals Consumption Footprint is a measure of their consumption of renewable natural resources. The total area of productive land or sea required to produce all the crops, meat, seafood, wood and fibre the individual consumes, to sustain its energy consumption and to give space for its infrastructure. The individuals consumption habits (size of house, consumption habits, etc need to be collected) are submitted to a Footprint Quiz calculator.

Procreation Factor: The procreation factor is '20' for every child. For every child the citizen has procreated, their consumption footprint must be multiplied by a factor of 20; i.e. (1 child, multiply by '20'; 2 children, multiply by 40; and so on)

These Footprint analysis and conclusions have been submitted to scientific Footprint experts for their feedback and confirmation to International Criminal Court; in the matter of EoP PoW -v- Nobel Peace Laurettes, et al.

Population Security: Catholic Church, Vatican existential security, Pope infallibility & Population issues | Vatican Consumption: Vatican investments and Profits from Military Pharmaceutical Industrial Complex & Drug War

Andrea Muhrrteyn | 25 September 2015| Updated 27 September
“There is a single theme behind all our work; we must reduce population levels. Either they do it our way, through nice clean methods or they will get the kind of mess that we have in El Salvador, or in Iran, or in Beirut. Population is a political problem. Once population is out of control it requires authoritarian government, even fascism, to reduce it.... The Professionals aren't interested in lowering population for humanitarian reasons. That sounds nice. We look at resources and environmental constraints. We look at our strategic needs, and we say that this country must lower its population, or else we will have trouble. So steps are taken. El Salvador is an example where our failure to lower population by simple means has created the basis for a national security crisis. The government of El Salvador failed to use our programs to lower their population. Now they get a civil war because of it. There will be dislocation and food shortages. They still have too many people there. Civil wars are somewhat drawn-out ways to reduce population. The quickest way to reduce population is through famine, like in Africa or through disease, like the Black Death, all of which might occur in El Salvador. ... We will go into a country and say, here is your goddamn development plan. Throw it out the window. Start looking at the size of your population and figure out what must be done to reduce it. If you don't like that, if you don't want to choose to do it through planning, then you'll have an El Salvador or an Iran, or worse, a Cambodia. .... El Salvador is an example of a country with serious population and political problems. Rapid population growth — the birth rate has remained unchanged in recent years — aggravates its population density, which is already the highest on mainland Latin America. While a population program exists on paper, it has not been pursued with a strong commitment, and contraceptives remain unavailable. The population program really did not work. The infrastructure was not there to support it. There were just too many goddamn people. If you want to control a country, you have to keep the population down. Too many people breed social unrest and communism. Something had to be done. The birth rate is 3.3 percent — one of the highest in the world. Its population, he complained, will double in 21 years. The civil war can help things, but it would have to be greatly expanded. ... To reduce population quickly, you have to pull all the males into the fighting and kill significant numbers of fertile, childbearing age females. [In El Salvador civil war] You are killing a small number of males and not enough fertile females to do the job on the population.” -- Thomas Ferguson, Latin American case officer for the State Department's Office of Population Affairs (OPA); quoted by Bill Cooper in Behold a Pale Horse; as quoted in EoP v WiP negotiations: Comment Correspondence [PDF]: Jiaozuo City Mingxing Brake Equipment Factory Mr. Aaron: EoP brake line options to stop WiP Armageddon Runaway Train.

Pope's climate push is 'raving nonsense' without population control, says top US scientist. Paul Ehrlich writes in Nature Climate Change that Francis is wrong to fight climate change without also addressing the strain from population growth on resources.

Population Security by Dr. Stephen Mumford is a resource for people concerned about the societies in which they live. It provides information on global security issues and shows how one small political entity, the Vatican, in pursuing its own interests, has managed to control US population policy and to thwart freedom of the press. It has also undermined not only U.S. national security but that of other countries and endangered the earth's environment and its inhabitants. It is not an anti-Catholic website. It is critical of the church's hierarchy, not of its religious beliefs. As population pressures continue to mount, democratic institutions on which we depend and the humanitarian values by which we are guided to ensure the health and well-being of all nations are threatened and their security put at risk. It is unconscionable that the lives of so many should be jeopardized because of a vague and arbitrary concept of Papal Infallibility.

The fourth largest asset class owned by the Vatican is founding industry and controlling stocks in a narrow class of industries related to arms manufacture, military support and pharmacuticals including strategic financial relationships with the international trade of illegal drugs. Through these strategic investments, the Roman Catholic Church is by far the single largest arms dealer, profiteer from conflict, profiteer from the growth of the pharmaceutical industry as well as single largest recipient of illegal drug money of any organisation in the history of the world.

Community Self Sufficiency: Rural Off Grid Russians Unphased by Economic Collapse

Rural Off Grid Russians Unphased by Economic Collapse
26 April 2015 | Andrea Muhrrteyn Compilation

While many in the world are completely dependent on large scale agriculture, the Russian people feed themselves. Their agricultural economy is small scale, predominantly organic and in the capable hands of the nation's people. Russians have something built into their DNA that creates the desire to grow their own food. It's a habit that has fed the Russian nation for centuries. It's not just a hobby but a massive contribution to Russia's agriculture. -- Russia’s Rural Villagers Are Unphased by Economic Collapse.

In 2011, 51% of Russia's food was grown either by dacha communities (40%), like those pictured left in Sisto-Palkino, or peasant farmers (11%) leaving the rest (49%) of production to the large agricultural enterprises. But when you dig down into the earthy data from the Russian Statistics Service you discover some impressive details. Again in 2011, dacha gardens produced over 80% of the countries fruit and berries, over 66% of the vegetables, almost 80% of the potatoes and nearly 50% of the nations milk, much of it consumed raw.

In a myriad of villages like Voskresenskoye, nestled deep in the Russian countryside, the monetary turmoil roiling the nation’s large cities still seems a largely distant threat. “This crisis is for the rich, for people who have dollars. We never had money here,” said Tamara Boychenko, a 68-year-old retired resident of the village located in northwest Russia about 80 kilometres (50 miles) from Saint Petersburg. -- Russian Family Gardens Produce 40% of Russian Food.

Social Contract Evolution: Ecology of Peace or War is Peace Maximum Power Principle?

Social Contract Evolution: Ecology of Peace or War is Peace Maximum Power Principle social contract evolution?

24 April 2015 | Andrea Muhrrteyn compilation

“Today, when one observes the many severe environmental and social problems, it appears that we are rushing towards extinction and are powerless to stop it. Why can’t we save ourselves? To answer that question we only need to integrate three of the key influences on our behavior: 1) biological evolution, 2) overshoot, and 3) a proposed fourth law of thermodynamics called the “Maximum Power Principle”(MPP). The MPP states that biological systems will organize to increase power generation, by degrading more energy, whenever systemic [social contract | ] constraints allow it”. - Amended quote from Jay Hanson; editor at DieOff.

“Investigation shows that whenever two nations have become engaged in warfare they have been advancing on converging lines of (resource acquisition for growing consumption or procreation) self-interest and aggrandizement. When the contact takes place, the struggle for supremacy, or even survival is at hand. This inevitable hour is approximately fixed and determined by the angles of convergence plus the sum of the relative (consumption / breeding war) speed by which the nations are moving along their respective lines. Thus it is that, when the angle of (breeding / consumption war) convergence of both or even one of the nations is acute and the speed or progress along one or both of the converging lines correspondingly great, war results in a few years or decades.” - Military Gospel according to Homer Lea; Homer Lea was the author of Valour of Ignorance and The Day of the Saxon.

Accelerated Common Sense Crash Course: EoP v WiP NWO Wealth Transfer Options

Accelerated Common Sense Crash Course: EoP v WiP NWO Wealth Transfer Options

19 April 2015 | Andrea Muhrrteyn Compilation

The lowest current estimates of International Banks derivatives meltdown crisis is $1.4 Quadrillion. $1.4 Quadrillion is roughly (a) 40 times the worlds stock market; (b) 10 times the value of every stock and every bond on the planet; (c) 23 times world GDP.

So imagine the world derivatives bubble bursts tomorrow; that will reap a financial tsunami that wipes out initially all the banks; but the money the banks have been using to play these derivative casino bets; was not their own money; but the banks clients money. So all the worlds stock markets [ in terms of all the financial transactions, debts and credits on their balance sheets ]; every stock and every bond on the planet; and the entire worlds GDP: BANKRUPT. Put differently every multinational corporation, bank and government on the planet will be bankrupt. In terms of their auditors bookkeeping debits and credits on their bank balance: BANKRUPT.

At this point a massive wealth transfer will occur.

"What are written about in history books is wealth destructions but they’re not really, they’re wealth transfers, if you look at them the way I do, which is that before and after the Wymar hyperinflation experience they are just as many acres of farmland and buildings around and people and productive property plant and equipment. But what happened was a lot of people got wiped out and who owned those things changed hands rather violently and dramatically." – Chris Martinson; Why Smart Money is so Nervous

About 90% of the worlds industrial banks and corporations would immediately be bankrupt and required to cease operations. All the individuals working for them would be without jobs. Fired with fuck all 'thank you for your employee service' handshake. All individuals who had their 'life savings' or 'source of income' as a result of speculating in stock markets; would have those financial assets wiped out. All individuals who are relying on 'pension funds' or 'life insurance policies' would all immediately become bankrupt; with no future source of income. Put simply: All individuals in the industrialized western world; who consider themselves anything remotely close to 'working class'; going upto 'middle class' and higher would immediately lose their jobs; pensions, mortgages, stocks and savings, etc.

Two Wealth Transfer options:

Masonic War is Peace Wealth Transfer: Instead of 50% of the world belonging to the 1%; 90% of the world belongs to them. One percent elite become overt In Your Face Warlord slavemasters; and the rest of the 99% overt slaves. The treatment of slaves, whether they are allowed to live or procreate; or how they are to be slaughtered, is totally dependent on their Warlord slavemasters goodwill.

Ecology of Peace wealth transfer: all bankrupt banks; corporations are nationalized. All individuals owning property greater than the EoP allotted ration footprint have their property nationalized. Families who agree to cooperate by signing EoP cooperator statements; are granted confiscated nationalized property sufficient for their family to sustain their most basic shelter, food and water needs; to engage in the process of rebuilding local cooperative tribal responsible freedom communities.

Ecology of Peace Facts:
1. Earth is not flat; 2. Resources are finite; 3. When humans breed or consume above ecological carrying capacity limits, it results in resource depletion, scarcity and conflict; 4. To sustainably protect and conserve natural resources in accordance to local and national carrying capacity limits; and restrict national and international inter-cultural resource war conflict; humans must implement an international law social contract that restricts all the worlds citizens to breed and consume below ecological carrying capacity limits.

June 1, 2005 0900 PST (FTW) A decade and a half ago the world went from bipolar to unipolar, because one of the poles fell apart: The S.U. is no more. The other pole – symmetrically named the U.S. – has not fallen apart – yet, but there are ominous rumblings on the horizon. The collapse of the United States seems about as unlikely now as the collapse of the Soviet Union seemed in 1985. The experience of the first collapse may be instructive to those who wish to survive the second.

Reasonable people would never argue that that the two poles were exactly symmetrical; along with significant similarities, there were equally significant differences, both of which are valuable in predicting how the second half of the clay-footed superpower giant that once bestrode the planet will fare once it too falls apart.

I have wanted to write this article for almost a decade now. Until recently, however, few people would have taken it seriously. After all, who could have doubted that the world economic powerhouse that is the United States, having recently won the Cold War and the Gulf War, would continue, triumphantly, into the bright future of superhighways, supersonic jets, and interplanetary colonies?

But more recently the number of doubters has started to climb steadily. The U.S. is desperately dependent on the availability of cheap, plentiful oil and natural gas, and addicted to economic growth. Once oil and gas become expensive (as they already have) and in ever-shorter supply (a matter of one or two years at most), economic growth will stop, and the U.S. economy will collapse.

National Geographic Alleges that Birdwatching is Racist; An Urban Birdwatcher Responds

National Geographic Alleges that Birdwatching is Racist; An Urban Birdwatcher Responds

"If all of you "Jews are racist baby killers; Hamas are noble freedom fighters" types would shut up, Hamas just might get it that their propaganda war is not working, and they might, they just might, try coexistence." - Danusha Letter to Henk Zanoli, 91 Year Old Dutch Righteous Gentile Who Returned His Medal to Yad Vashem

"It is through the concrete, intimate details of our day-to-day real lives that we best understand abstract truths. .. And they could not do that small thing – bring a friend who can't stop puking some seltzer water.. I'm not saying that no left-wingers helped me; many did. I'm saying that you don't know whom you can rely on in a foxhole. The people who were helpful to me included some right-wingers who talked hard-ass talk about self-reliance and not wanting to fund bloated and corrupt government programs. The people who abandoned me included many left-wingers who displayed publicly bleeding hearts and broadcast lots of mushy rhetoric about helping the poor and unfortunate." - Danusha Goska

October 11, 2014 | By Danusha Goska | American Thinker

On September 23, 2014, National Geographic published an article by Martha Hamilton titled "Colorful World of Birding Has Conspicuous Lack of People of Color." The gist: birdwatching is racist. Non-racist people must intervene to ensure that birding and birders become "inclusive."

I live in Paterson, NJ. Paterson is two-thirds Black or Hispanic, with the nation's second largest Muslim population. My first job after graduation from college was as a Peace Corps teacher in a remote African nation, ranked as the poorest country on earth. I have taught and published on racism and ethnic conflict. I care deeply about my students. I want their futures to be better than their pasts.

I am a birdwatcher. I mentioned the National Geographic allegation in an online discussion list dedicated to birding. I said that I found the article "off base." Rick Wright, author of The American Birding Association Field Guide to Birds of New Jersey, informed me that he would henceforth block any messages by me. Others sent insults. Rather than saying, "We have a Paterson birdwatcher. Let's dialogue," the senders of abusive emails decided, "You disagreed with a liberal on race. You must be insulted and silenced."

IDF's Gaza assault: control Palestinian gas; cull Scarcity-Combatant Breeding War Terrorists

“We must all understand that the most potent weapons of war are the penis and the womb. Therefore, if you cannot convince a group to control its population by discussion, debate, intelligent analysis etc., you must consider their action in using the penis and the womb to increase population an act of war.” - Former Municipal Court Judge Jason G. Brent, Humans: An Endangered Species.

The Guardian: "The Israel-Palestine conflict is clearly not all about resources. But in an age of expensive energy, competition to dominate regional fossil fuels are increasingly influencing the critical decisions that can inflame war."

Palestine Pulse: With the increased population, the proportion of poor people in the Gaza Strip has increased to about 39% of the population, according to the Palestinian Center for Statistics. More than 21% of the population lives in extreme poverty.

According to experts, the absence of population policies in the Gaza Strip and the lack of strategic plans to cope with its growth has turned Gaza’s population into a ticking time bomb. “Population growth,” he said, “is a bomb that can explode at any time and result in economic, social, educational and health consequences.

BBC: Gaza population 'rising rapidly': The population of the Gaza Strip increased by almost 40% between 1997 and 2007, according to the results of a Palestinian census.

SQSwans: "The womb of the Arab woman is my strongest weapon" - Yasser Arafat.

MILINT Earth Day: Guerrylla Laws define the procreation and consumption behaviour of an individual as an Sustainable Leaver (aka Eco-Innocent) or Unsustainable Taker (aka Scarcity-Combatant), based upon a sustainable consumption bio-capacity of 1 global hectare (gha) (60 % of 1.8 gha) in accordance with the proactive conservation policies of Bhutan; multiplied by an individuals Breeding footprint factor of 20 per child.

Unsustainable Taker / Scarcity-Combatant:

The total area of productive land or sea required to produce all the crops, meat, seafood, wood and fibre the individual consumes, to sustain its energy consumption and to give space for its infrastructure. The individuals consumption habits (size of house, consumption habits, etc need to be collected) and submitted to a Footprint Quiz calculator.

Procreation Factor: The procreation factor is '20' for every child. For every child the citizen has procreated, their consumption footprint must be multiplied by a factor of 20; i.e. (1 child, multiply by '20'; 2 children, multiply by 40; and so on)

NSA officials confirm Ecological Overshoot as a source of 9/11 and post 9/11 mass surveillance?

In the 27 page document, the phrase '9/11' is mentioned a total of fifteen [5+1=6]times. .. "NSA and its [Overconsuming corporate] partners must make sure we connect the dots so that the nation is never attacked [by its own ecological overshoot concerned military] again like it was on 9/11," .. "Post-9/11 we made several changes and added a number of capabilities to enable us to connect the dots" [that the earth is not flat ..]

A media publication’s accurate contextual environmental information is to a citizen’s healthy, constructive problem solving decision-making, no different what an organic farmer’s food is to a body’s cells energy conversion decision-making and problem solving. Similarly a media publication’s inaccurate information-food, including where the inaccuracy results from the intentional omission of important contextual environmental information, is as toxic and debilitating to an individual’s decision making and problem solving, or collectively to a citizenry’s decision-making and problem solving, as a farmer’s toxic pesticide or genetically modified biological foodstuffs can be.

Modern art was CIA 'weapon' in cultural Cold War

Modern art was CIA 'weapon'

Revealed: how the spy agency used unwitting artists such as Pollock and de Kooning in a cultural Cold War

Francis Stonor Saunders | Sunday 22 October 1995 | Independent
For decades in art circles it was either a rumour or a joke, but now it is confirmed as a fact. The Central Intelligence Agency used American modern art - including the works of such artists as Jackson Pollock, Robert Motherwell, Willem de Kooning and Mark Rothko - as a weapon in the Cold War. In the manner of a Renaissance prince - except that it acted secretly - the CIA fostered and promoted American Abstract Expressionist painting around the world for more than 20 years.

The connection is improbable. This was a period, in the 1950s and 1960s, when the great majority of Americans disliked or even despised modern art - President Truman summed up the popular view when he said: "If that's art, then I'm a Hottentot." As for the artists themselves, many were ex- communists barely acceptable in the America of the McCarthyite era, and certainly not the sort of people normally likely to receive US government backing.
